Read (and laugh) along

Somewhere between self-deprecation and spiritual thoughts from a millennial author/dog mom/business owner/under-qualified chick who trips into the right rooms.

I believe there are more humans out there laughing at their fails, stumbling into rooms that trigger imposter syndrome, and are trying to make it work anyway.

Here, I want us to have a place to laugh about it together. To commiserate and to celebrate. To talk about what it feels like to fall down wayyyy more than 9 times, and stand up hopefully way more than 10.

Alexa Gorman

Alexa Gorman, co-author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller, Born to Rise, has been writing, reading, creating, organizing and chasing dogs in Connecticut for most of her life. A graduate of Stony Brook University’s School of Journalism, she quickly learned the hard-hitting life of a reporter was not for her. She’s spent the last 9 years as a saleswoman, social media marketer, content creator, energy healer, and virtual assistant, before combining her skills to provide strategic launch and marketing support for creative businesses, including WorldChangers Media.

She lives in Connecticut with her partner, James, and their fur-babies, Java, Merlin, and Bucky. When she’s not hyping up clients, strategizing, or creating content, you can find listening to James theorize about all things Marvel comics, dancing, running, devouring fantasy or personal development books, and binging bad TV.
